Ashley Zerilli
Owner/Master Stylist
As the proud owner of Salon Amara, Ashley has had a passion for hair since a very young age.  She has been able to turn this passion into a career that she loves, and over the last 22 years her growing career has led her to different salons in the Cape Ann area and Boston.   This has provided her with a wealth of education and skills that can be seen in her work, both in her business and as a hairstylist. Ashley is a perfectionist, master of her craft and has an eye for detail that shines through in the results of her work.  She takes great pride in her work and in making sure that every guest’s needs are met. Ashley aims to make sure that each client has an unforgettable experience and leaves the salon feeling beautiful and confident.

Ashley is not accepting new clients at this time. 

 Kat Pierce
Master Stylist
Kat has been in the beauty industry for more than 17 years.  Ever since Kat was a little girl she always had a passion for hair and makeup. “It’s incredibly rewarding making people look and feel good.” Doing hair is her favorite thing to do. For Kat hair has always been a feeling. 

Kat takes her education very seriously. Whether Kat is traveling to New York, Rhode, Island, Boston or doing online education, she is always staying focused on the latest trends. Kat has a true passion for blondes. She takes great pride in being a blonding specialist. Blonding, coloring, cutting and styling are where it’s at for her. Kat brings a lot to Salon Amara, she has managed a team of woman who are passionate about their craft for years. Kat is grateful to plant her roots down in her hometown and create one amazing blonde at a time.

Missy Brosnan
Senior Stylist
With over 12 years of experience, Missy is very passionate about working with Aveda and has done so for the last five years.  She specializes in Inca Glow smoothing treatments, short and textured haircuts, as well as loving every aspect of hair design. Missy is very accommodating and strives to give every guest the best experience.

Amanda Pacholec
Master Stylist
Amanda, a Gloucester native, has had experience working at Aveda salons throughout the North Shore for over 10 years, during that time she became a master stylist and an in-salon educator.  Known for her expertise in precision cuts and custom color techniques, Amanda has a passion for using eco-friendly, nourishing products, that have a positive effect on both the earth and her clients. After taking time off to raise her two daughters, she is now returning to the beauty industry with renewed energy and creativity.

Alexandra Mitchell
Aesthetician / Massage and Bodyworks
Alexandra has been practicing skin care for more than 14 years. As a graduate of Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics with Advanced Education, she has had the opportunity to work with two Board
Certified Plastic Surgeons, A Dermatologist, and two high end Aveda Concept salons. Working as part of the team as a Medical Assistant/Aesthetician Alexandra has gained insight on skin care preventions and keeping up with a daily skin care routine.  Prior to working in Plastics, she worked beside a Dermatologist for over 2 years, where her interest really peaked to educate on skin cancer prevention. She has worked with Aveda concepts for more than 10 years in Boston and in Gloucester, at the Deborah Coull Salon, and now Salon Amara.

Through the years she has become extremely involved with patients one-on-one, educating them on the importance of health and wellness, as well as skin care. Alexandra continues to expands her career with wellness at the forefront. Her journey includes being a CBD advocate, a running coach, and a Licensed Massage Therapist.
